Katsina State Governor Honored for Outstanding Security Efforts at International Conference

At the 18th Africa Security Watch Conference in Doha, Qatar, Katsina State was celebrated for its exemplary commitment to security. The Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Dikko Umaru Radda, was awarded the title of "Best Security Conscious State Governor/Premier in West and Central Africa", a recognition received on his behalf by the Deputy Governor, Honorable Faruq Lawal Jobe.
The award was presented by Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, the 21st Indigenous Chief of Naval Staff of the Nigerian Navy, during the prestigious event that brought together security experts, policymakers, and government leaders from across the globe.
While receiving the award, Deputy Governor Jobe delivered an insightful address on Katsina State’s steadfast efforts in addressing security challenges. He thanked the conference organizers for recognizing the state's dedication and highlighted Governor Radda's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property.
"Our governor is a courageous and passionate leader, making security a top priority for the state," Jobe stated. He further emphasized the governor’s collaborative approach, aligning state initiatives with national security efforts to enhance effectiveness.
